Yacht IT, Starlink & Network Support on the Côte d’AzurOnboard intervention from Saint-Tropez to Monaco, 24/7 remote support everywhere else.

The Côte d’Azur is where much of the Mediterranean fleet berths, refits and starts its charter season. Our engineers are based here. When something on board stops working, or when a refit is the moment to rebuild the network properly, we come to the quay.

    • An engineer who comes to the quay

Based on the Côte d’Azur, we work on board in the ports where the yachts are.

    • We know the ports

Port Vauban, Port Hercule, Port Canto, Villefranche bay: access, berthing and the practicalities of working on board.

    • Planned around refits and charters

Network rebuilds during the yard period, checks before guests arrive, fixes between charters.

    • Followed up worldwide

Once you leave, the same engineers support you remotely, 24/7, wherever the yacht sails.

    What we do

Ports and marinas we serve on board

From the Var to the Monaco border, in the ports where the Mediterranean superyacht fleet berths, winters and refits.

What we do on the quay

Everything from a one-hour diagnosis to a full network rebuild, with the same documentation at the end.

    • Diagnosis and troubleshooting of internet, Wi-Fi, network, firewall and IP telephony
    • Starlink Maritime installation, optimisation and failover to 4G/5G and VSAT
    • Network, managed Wi-Fi and cybersecurity design and refresh
    • IMO cyber-risk documentation for ISM-managed yachts
    • Pre-charter checks and hand-over to a new captain or ETO

    Refit and yard periods

Winter refits on the Côte d’Azur are the right moment to rebuild cabling, switching and Wi-Fi without disturbing guests. We plan the work with the captain, the ETO and the yard so the network is finished before sea trials.

    • Scope and quote agreed before the yacht enters the yard
    • Cabling, racks and access points installed alongside other trades
    • Commissioning and documentation before the season starts

    Worldwide follow-up

The yacht leaves, the support stays. Remote monitoring and secure remote access let us diagnose and fix most software and configuration issues from the Riviera, 24/7. For hardware work we meet the yacht at its next port or travel on request.

    • 24/7 remote support by phone, email and WhatsApp
    • Remote monitoring of links, firewall and Wi-Fi
    • Travel to the yacht on request outside the Côte d’Azur

    Port by port

Yacht IT support in the main ports of the Côte d’Azur

Each port has its own rhythm. Here is how we usually work in the five where we spend the most time.

Yacht IT support in Antibes (Port Vauban)

Port Vauban is one of the largest yacht marinas in Europe and, with the IYCA quay, home to some of the biggest yachts on the coast. Many yachts winter here, which makes Antibes the natural place for the deeper work: network and Wi-Fi refresh during the yard period, Starlink installation, cybersecurity audits and the documentation an IMO audit expects. Yacht management companies and crew agencies are a few streets away, so hand-overs to a new captain or ETO are easy to organise on site.

Yacht IT support in Monaco (Port Hercule, Fontvieille)

In Monaco, time on board is short and guest movements come first. We prepare as much as possible remotely, then intervene between arrivals and departures in Port Hercule or Port de Fontvieille. Typical requests: Starlink optimisation and 4G/5G hand-over configured for the approach to the port, guest Wi-Fi performance, and firewall or remote-access checks before an owner’s visit.

Yacht IT support in Cannes (Vieux Port, Port Canto)

Cannes lives on charter turnarounds. Between two charters, the questions are always the same: is the guest Wi-Fi fast on every deck, does the internet hold at the Lérins anchorage, are the crew devices separated from the owner network? We handle quick fixes at the quay in the Vieux Port or Port Canto and schedule larger work for the quiet weeks.

Yacht IT support in Nice (Port Lympia) and Villefranche

Port Lympia sits minutes from the airport, which makes Nice practical for replacement hardware and for meeting a yacht that is only passing through. The Villefranche bay anchorage next door is where we most often work by tender: Starlink obstruction checks, router diagnosis and Wi-Fi troubleshooting on yachts that stay at anchor rather than in port.

Yacht IT support in Saint-Tropez and the Var coast

In summer, Saint-Tropez combines crowded anchorages with congested mobile networks. The usual job is getting the balance right between Starlink and 4G/5G so guests stream without the bridge losing priority, and fixing Wi-Fi that was fine in port and struggles at anchor. We also cover Sainte-Maxime and Saint-Raphaël, with tender transfers arranged with the crew.

    FAQ

    Questions captains ask us

Can you come to the yacht at anchor, not only in port?

Yes, when the yacht can arrange a tender transfer from the nearest port, for example off Cannes, Villefranche or Saint-Tropez. Most work can also be prepared remotely beforehand to shorten the time on board.

Do you cover Saint-Tropez and the Var coast?

Yes. We work on board from Saint-Tropez, Sainte-Maxime and Saint-Raphaël up to Monaco. La Ciotat, Toulon and Marseille are covered on request.

Do you work during the high season?

Yes. Between charters and during events, time on board is short, so we prepare as much as possible remotely and schedule the visit around guest movements with the captain.

What happens once we leave the Mediterranean?

Support continues remotely, 24/7, for the systems we know and document. For hardware work we can meet the yacht at its next port or travel on request.
